Casa Italia
Casa Italia will house the headquarters of CONI, the Italia Team and all business partners for the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Two locations have been selected which will be open from 7 to 23 February, characterised and used by the major companies of Made in Italy.
The main location will be set up for the first time in history within the Olympic Park. It is a development that will be used by other Olympic Committees as Italy took the opportunity to set up a space in a building especially built by the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee in the area where competitions relating to ice sports take place.
It is located on the third floor of the conference centre which is situated two hundred metres away from the Medal Plaza, the location where the official prize-giving ceremonies of all the competitions will take place along with those that take place in the mountains and in the city.
Extending over approximately 400 m2, the structure consists of a lounge area with an interviews and dining area, to which is added an area reserved for the press and SKY television studios. The food service will be attended to by an Italian chef.
The second location selected is in the mountain village of Rosa Khutor, within the hotel Park Inn. In collaboration with the FISI [the Italian Winter Sports Federation], an allotted exclusive area of 500 m” has been set up, with a dining area and lounge area.
Access to both locations will only be possible by invitation.
Casa Italia will be in Sochi and will, of course, be concentrating on the majority of support and promotional activities aimed at business partners, the media and international guests.
