This is the sixth medal for Italy in Sochi 2014, and with it the tally has exceeded that of Vancouver 2010 which only reached five. Finally, one more milestone as Peretti, Valcepina and Viviani break through the wall of the 100 medal winners barrier in Italy's history at the Winter Games. Innerhofer was 99th.
