http://www.sochi2014.coni.it is online from today and devoted entirely to the Italian Mission leaving for the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014. The CONI initiative will accompany the athletes and the Italian team throughout the Olympics which starts on 7 February and will be updated in real time with all the Italians' competitions. It is a useful tool for easy consultation by experts, enthusiasts, athletes and fans alike because it contains all the information which is both useful and necessary to learn more about the main sportspeople who will be representing Italy in Russia. Also interesting is the history section with all the Azzurri medallists and finalists of “all time”. The graphics and design of the website has been carried out by Coninet, CONI's IT department, while the text, profiles, news and trivia has been created by the Olympic Committee's Communications and Media Relations Office. There is also a section on the website dedicated to Casa Italia which, like in Vancouver 2010, will be split between two locations: one location will be the Olympic Park in Sochi (where the ice sports competitions will be held) and the other will be in the mountains in Rosa Khutor (where the snow sports will take place). For the first time in history, there will also be an English version of the Olympic team's website.
