They are intense days of testing in the wind tunnel for the speed men and women of the World Cup. The two groups are in fact submitting to complete, thanks to an agreement between Ferrari and the Italian Winter Sports Federation under the auspices of the CONI, a series of aerodynamic tests in different positions and at different speeds varying between 90 and 110 kilometres per hour. “We put them through individualised tests ranging from real exercises in order to optimise the aerodynamic position, to verify the effectiveness of the material available to the athlete, like gloves, sticks and others components, says Male Technical Director Claudio Ravetto. Through our partnership, we have the opportunity to test new prototypes that could in future give us advantages in terms of safety and effectiveness.
